One of the greatest hacks going around finally looks like calling it a day. On press received per games played you'd think this crock is better than Chris Judd

Seen this coming for years. Lyons needs to make some tough decisions and get rid of a few of these crocks - you can't keep complaining about your injuries list when it's the same people every year. Hamill, Kosi, the Clarkes, Gehrig - should all be moved on or traded.
Sad about Hammil, good player blighted by bad run of injuries, was the way he played though.
They're not much use to you if they're only on the park half the time. If you've got an injury management record like the Swans you can afford to keep someone like the Donk on the list (for a time at least) - if your injury management record looks like the Saints, you've got to cut your losses. And the fact they'd get good trade value for Kosi & (to a lesser extent) the Clarkes makes the whole thing easier to swallow.
Sometimes tough decisions need to be made - that's how teams get better. I'm not suggesting they should trade him because they'd get good value for him - I'm suggesting that they need to change their squad or not complain when they're depleted by injuries to the same players every year. Kosi is no Judd - and at this stage he's no Goodes either. A player with raw talent that at this stage is giving them occasional value as a third tall forward and a part-time ruckman but appears to be one big head collision away from retirement. Sounds like trade bait to me.
Saint Kilda will make changes to their squad at the end of this year, I have no doubt about it.

I agree with your summary, Giant. St Kilda went close a few years ago but they really don't have a team to win a flag at the moment. Kosi would definitely attract a good player and maybe a first round pick, so it would make good sense for them.
If Robert Harvey retires then I think they'll rebuild their list. I think for now they've been trying to get a flag for the old guy with what they've got but I can't see it happening now.

Every team will make changes at the end of the year !
The point was they would trade Clarkes and Kosi, which IMO is very very unlikely, and silly.
Not looking quite so silly now - at least they would have got something of value if they'd traded these three last year. I reckon I got this one just right.
