"[T]here are things that matter more and he's reading and thinking about them: heaven, reincarnation. Life and death are the only things that are truly a matter of life and death. Not football."
This has been the our problem all year. In the past Roos has never talked about more than "next week". This year he, and possibly the team, are getting ahead of themselves. Leapin' made some comments the other week about wins required for finals, whereas in the past he would have only been commenting about this weeks game.

You know I had the same feeling in the game to last years grand final.
The Swans seemed quite casual last year, as if having won one gave them the luxury of being of looking behind and ahead with a certain philosophical outlook born of experience.
The fact is when a team is really commtted to and hungry for success, they generally live much more in the present.
In 2005 the Swans as a club and as individuals didn't say too much in the lead uo to the grand final.
