could be a docker offer to get him back west which would or could mean longmire to north. voss to carlton, connolly to melb .....bad choice for dees , but not my prob. and there is a certain tiger coach who would have to be on very shaky ground for all the spin doctoring he comes up with they have gone more backward than even carlton at their worst.Comment

RIP Coach Connolly. I thought Chris was a great character on the front line of AFL. His departure is really a loss when it comes to the Perth footy. At season's end in 2006, WA finished 1st and 3rd. Not bad really.
He has departed on his terms hence a replacement was not ready and still not some 6 hours later. When your playing group isn't doing on the field what is being preached on the training track, it can only mean that the message is not being received and the Dockers are not playing good enough team footy, let alone CLUB FOOTY (no Drawn Together gags about Club Foot either please ha).
I would like to see Chris Bond take a senior post this year and this might just be the right time for him.The Pain of Discipline is Nothing Like The Pain of DisappointmentComment

Quite remarkable the decline of Freo when you think about it.....
3rd last year, played a prelim final, big expecatations of being the "real deal" this year, to now. No chance of making the finals and their coach on his ass and out the door...
When you consider the recruited pretty well in Tarrant and Solomon, it really goes to show how the line between success and failure is a very thin one...Comment
