    Buckley's hopes fading

It seems Nathan Buckley may not get to play again for Collingwood, the hammy has gone again. As much as I hate Collingwood, it is sad to see a champion like Buckley (possibly) going out this way.

He's gunna wait 7 weeks to make a decision. Just happens to be 7 H&A games left. Bet he's glad he chased his dream by leaving the Bears.

Why do you have to say that? Not only is it old, it's beneath a champ who has given his heart and soul to Collingwood and to footy in general IMO.

Back to his hammy, I was pretty rattled when I read the news this afternoon. I think Pies fans (2 and 4 legged ones) would all be shattered for their champ. One got the feeling that he wasn't far from considering retirement, this is likely the end.

Might be the end of him playing but I certainly wouldn't expect it was the end of him in footy. I can see him coaching sooner rather than later.

            Sounds like he's got Buckleys...

              Bah... overrated...

You might want to check what Willo has to say on that count....

Shone in a team when they were very average....

And when is he going to give that Norm Smith to it's rightful owner??? i.e. Michael Voss...

I still think he'll make another grand final though.....

Pity it will be in the back of a convertible before the game starts.....

THE GREAT EDDIE can't help Bucks on this one what ashame. Not nice to see a great player finish this way if only he stayed a bear/lion.His record would have been even better.

yeah, poor bucks ... a sad way to leave the game.
