Now BEVAN is the real liability

Just got home from that horrid game, copped an absolute gobful from weagles supporters for leaving a few minutes before the final siren.

Fair dinkum. Bevo reinforced the fact that he's simply not up to it tonight. I know he tries his heart out, but the fact of the matter is he's a talentless hack.

If he's not fumbling the ball and turning it over, he's giving away CLUMSY free kicks in the defensive 50. He's got a very poor footy brain and his man just always seems to get away from him with ease most of the time.

He has to go. If he's in our best 25, then we're in trouble.

No arguments from me. He would not get a game at 15 other clubs - Carlton included.

The only reason he is on our list is because he's a Sydney junior. This also means plays in accordance with his rugby league background - i.e no brain.

He missed 2 crucial marks in the last Q, one he had his name on and it hit him in the head.

Did you see his rugby shuffle on the wing in the 3rd Q. He just hasn't lost that rugby mind set that he clearly got as a kid, but it sure as hell doesn't help us.

I suspect he is the one that Daniel Harford labelled as the worst player in the AFL a couple of weeks ago.

Before tonight, I always thought there was sufficient promise to justify his place in the team. Now I understand. He is just a clutz.
He had observed that people who did lie were, on the whole, more resourceful and ambitious and successful than people who did not lie.

Oh dear, I forgot about those marking attempts.

Very cringeworthy indeed. Has a terrible set of hands and zero coordination.

I think Roos has had enough too. Big chance to be dropped this week.

Time to select our finals team.

In: Buchanan (reserves BOG), Kennelly, Hall, LRT
Out: Vogels (just a depth player), Bevan, Grundy (not yet a defender), and probably Leo Barry out with a hammy.

Barry, Barry, Barry. You must have some very recent hot news because Roosey simply loves him. Didn't you know he is the number one track worker at the club. Doesn't translate on game day but boy he tries hard.

I could not believe the hospital pass he gave to (I think) Dempster coming out of defense. He could clearly see that he was closley followed by an eagle, yet still handballed to him. Classic example of being a complete meat head.

I know this is going to sound hypocritical coming from me. But he is an absolute disgrace.
He is not and AFL players arse hole.
He is slow with decision making, sloppy with skills and just a bloody passenger.
The only thing he seems to do ok is tackle.
                    Drop him now.

Voss made some comments tonight about Bevan's recklessness and poor decision making.
Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

Given Voss's comments, that seems unlikely...

It was a shocking decision, though wonder boy Malceski laid off a couple of stinker handballs tonight as well. Strange, given that his decision making is normally so good.

i think i spent most of the game swearing at bevan. Unfortunately he's just not up to it - he doesnt give value as a small defender or a rebounder, has no decision-making process whatever, and either sets up teammates with hospital passes or kicks the ball 30 metres backwards every 2nd possession he gets.
