no, that's when "mathematically" comes into the discussion.
I think we are in the official "mathematically can" category for top 4.
We need to win all our remaining games.
Not drop one single game due to:
1) Umpire errors
2) Inaccurate kicking
3) Any injures happening
4) Barry hall missing ever 3rd game.
5) Leo Barry's hamstring
6) Playing Hawthorn and Collingwood.....and St Kilda
Thanks ROK, get back to us in 4 weeks time if we're still a top 4 chance.
How many games this year have we been able to take "positives" out of the loss? I wish they'd stop taking the "positives" out of the losses and just bloody well win some of these big games.
I will always hold in the back of my mind the belief we can pull a rabbit or 3 out of the hat and get there again this year but Im like dave just cant see how we can do it. We needed to stand up at the mid year when we played collingwood and failed to do it and the same was said of last weekend. We just havent and I cant see how we are suddenly going to turn it round and give ourselves much more chance then making up the numbers in September
"You get the feeling that like Monty Python's Black Knight, the Swans would regard amputation as merely a flesh wound."
I bleed Red & White, like everyone here I rekon. In 2005 when we were going so-so at this stage I was saying to anyone who would listen that the Swannies were gunna win the GF. And we did. This stage last year I had faith in the boys that we`d do it again. But we know what happened.
What I rekon is that OUR guys on the day that matters, can, and will beat any team, anywhere, any time.
Bring on the finals!!!!!!!!!
( Not sure wether my heart can take another Subiaco/WC one).
