    A plethora of coaches....

With all of these coaches on the market, and the loss of Jonas and Lyon last year, should we look to snaffle a couple of them into our ranks???

    Would Sheedy's experience be helpful??

Could Daniher be a better assistant or even match day coach???

    Would we even consider Connolly??

Pagan as a fitness coach then???

Sheedy's always had a soft spot for the Swans, but that may have dissipated somewhat since we won a flag.

He publicly declared the Cokers would flog Sydney in last year's Grand Final, don't know if that means much but I doubt he'll consider coming to Sydney especially for an assistant's role.
I only support one team: The SYDNEY SWANS!!!!! :adore

Or, on the other hand should we be concerned that Longmire may finally get the call up from one of these teams? We may need more than one assistant coach for next year and the fact that many teams will have new coaches also means that alot of assistants will be out of a job as well.

If they do their due diligence correctly they'll realise Horse is the Swans' midfield coach, they'll have a look at how the Swans' midfield is performing, then move on to another candidate.

I'd like us to have a go at Voss or Bucks as our midfield coach but I get the distinct impression that hell would need to freeze over.

How long is Cressa's contract at Tassie? Could this be a chance to re-enter the fray?

There's alot of talk going around that Horse is almost a certainty to get the nod (pardon the pun) from one of the clubs looking for a coach.

I think Horse would be the first assistant to get snaffled up.....

Don't need to be a genius to see that.

That makes '08 look like it might be a bleak year...

Correct Hammo. What in the hell is a forward and only a forward doing coaching the midfield.

What's the panic, there are plenty of talented/smart ex players looking for a gig as a coach somewhere. Dont you worry folks, they will already be knocking down Roosey's door looking to step into Longmire's boots. Wonder if Roosey's best mate Alistair Lynch has given him a bell.

Dont know about John Blakey's tenure, about his only credentials is that he is a mate of Roosey.

There is a rumour doing the rounds (in my head) that Bevan may be asked to retire and become the backline coach next year. He can use his personal axiom that backmen must use their head. He did that a couple of times last week when attampting to mark.

Torture, I've heard, will be back as ruck coach and John Hutton will return as the forward mentor.

                              Sheedy - wrong decade
Daniher - a poor mans Sheedy
Connolly - your havin a laff
Pagan - luckiest coach in history -we gave him Carey.
