What the...they kicked it to Davo.

Am I just dreaming it or did Davis seem to be a genuine target up forward. It appeared like poor old MOL was having a bad night but played a lot further up the field and Davo was a genuine go to man along with BBBH and ROK. Is this a subtle change to our game plan with ROK also spending more time up forward.

Davo looked very sharp and focused last night and that run to space around the 50 mark going forward was really good stuff and they picked him out. He seems to finding form at the right time and we are looking more dangerous up forward for it.

lol how dare we kick to players other then Hall in the forward line!! Good to see though- Davis and Micky O (even though he didnt do a lot last night) when they get a chance this year are deadly accurate in front and ROK aint been bad recently either. That is one thing that has been missing- a true sense of a multi pronged attack where the opposition cant just shut down Hall and also simultaneously shut down our scoring. May it continue what we saw last night as if it does we are not out of the reckoning yet!

The injury and subsequent resting of Hall has finally - through necessity - got it through their collective skulls that they need other avenues to goal. We're a better side for it, too.

The funny thing being that it makes Hall more dangerous too.

agreed...but we need someone like BBBH to take the other teams best defender so we can free up the ROK, MOL and Davis little more

Forget BBBBH... He's not going to get us to the finals or another premiership of his own boot.....

We need to have the likes of MO'L, Rok and Tricky Nicky to kick at least as many as Barry, if not more, every game. Throw in a cple from the likes of Schneider, Spida, Bucky and a cple from our midfield and that's a winning scoreline every week.

MO'L has been firing all year. ROK and Tricky looks like they are now playing themselves into some consistant goal kicking form. Barry doesn't need to be firing as much as we need the others. He'll still draw #1 & 2 defenders that allow the others to do their job.

Pretty good summation there RP,and it does seem as if there is a second game plan.8/10 goals from our forwards,5/6 from midfield/ruck and throw in a couple from the defenders and the fat lady will be singing "Cheer Cheer the Red and the White."

how great was it to see ROK in the forward line...
I heard ont he radio last week someone saying this and after 2 games I believe the point to be right, just because ROK can run a thousand miles a game, why should he, he is soooo useful in the forward line and the whole team lifts from his performance and him working with davo and hall in that area we are a machine...

                    here come the finals.

How good was his kicking for goal? 4 goals and 2 posters, none of them were from easy spots for a shot either. Great stuff to watch.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline

I reckon Davo had more scoring shots than Melcho had soft handball receives, and that is saying something!
