Please do Des. I certainly enjoy reading the reports and appreciate the time people put in to do it.
Anyway it's your report so you can say whoever you like is good, bad or ugly!

      Yeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaah right
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Des spot on as always, except when it comes to the Cove. Good report any way except for BOG's they were all poo, except for Melcho he was good again
Now this is a thread that i would expect on the ego -centric, wank session that is redandwhiteonline.com...

The list of "best players" has now been altered to one that most should find more acceptable. It's my list, not Des'. So if you still disagree, don't blame him.

As others have noted, it was just a wee experiment to find out whether anyone actually reads these things. Several contributors from this season and past ones have become disillusioned about writing reports for a lack of any idea whether anyone actually reads them. No-one is looking for gratuitous or gushing praise. But if you do value them, just occasionally posting a comment picking up on a point made by the match reviewer will give writers some assurance that they're not wasting their time.

As things stand now, I think we're going to struggle to provide anything more than sporadic reports next season simply because many of our writers have dropped out through general lack of response. Which would be a shame from my perspective, because I really enjoy reading the different views of the writers who have put their hand up over the years.

So those of you who do value them, please keep reminding us. And if no-one does, we'll just let them die a rapid and natural death.

(And if anyone yet to write one thinks they'd like to have a go, keep hold of that thought for the next six months and let Scott or myself know in January or February next year. We're always delighted to have new writers come on board.)
