    Ok... We beat Richmond... So?

    What does it mean???

If we're to be honest, was 11 goals really a big enough win?? Just where are we heading with this sort of form?

I doubt anyone's complaining about the win but really, is it just setting us up for a fall???

We're in great form and the game against the Tigers is just an indication of things to come.. :D

Beware of false prophets. Winning against Richmond is only to be expected. We might be in trouble against some quality opposition

Often footy is all played above the heads. The winning feeling, no matter the opposition is something to bottle. Momentum is very important and if we can win next week (no excuses...though a danger game) and get over the Saints...look out!
    Swannies for life!

I would have thought some here would of been used to having limited options...

I think its definately a good sign of things to come, if your event horizon is only 1 week long.

The three good things from the game are:

              - 4 points
              - % boost (although should have been more)
              - some improvement in confidence

Otherwise, we did enough to win and little more in a game we were expected to win.

Agree with NMW. I think things are on the up, and IMHO this is shown by our scores the last few weeks. We're starting to find our feet in attack. Admittedly our defense isn't as tight as it usually is, but at least we're starting to get more efficient down the other end of the ground. Still have to keep working at it though and not go back to the ultra defensive mindset we often turn to in bigger games.

We should've flogged them by 136 points...

Hang on. 66 points is our biggest winning margin of the season and our opponent's second or third biggest loss (bear in mind the biggest was that schlacking at the hands of Geelong).

While Richmond are at the bottom of the ladder, they haven't excatly lost by a bucket load of goals each game. Many have been tight and against good opposition.

Plus, we only beat them by 10 or 15 points earlier in the year. A vast improvement.
Captain, I am detecting large quantities of win in this sector

Also add no significant injuries. But well summed up.

Everyone on here would have taken a 60+ point win if offered it before the game.

                        Get over yourselves.

We'd all take a 60 point win next week too.

Margins dont matter anymore. We just need to keep wining. A win is a win.

Well, we nearly did last year.

I liked Barry Hall's return to being....well... himself. That augers well for the matches to come.
