PS:- If I get my tax back quick enough I might pop up for the game.
yeah I found redfern much easier, from memory it's one of the platforms further up (1 i think) and it basically stop strathfield lidcombe then olympic park.

you should be getting more than enough in your tax!
the prices are excellent for non-members to the telstra games.

i remember back in the day in 1996 we used to get swanslink tickets. if you were under 16 (as we were) you could get return train and bus to the S.C.G and a general admission seat on the hill or doug walters stand.

    the cost?

    $2.60!

    i kid you not!

for a mere 2.60 as a 15 yr old we saw the 96 prelim final, plugger's 1300th and heaps of other great swans games.

    ahh those were the days.

still, i remember going to the collingwood v swans game in 2003 where we had 73,000 and a family ticket 4 rows back was something ridiculous like 35 bucks.

beats nrl for entertainment and value for money any day!

or you could catch a train to Straithfield mate and change there.

When JF lived in Newtown,we used to go to Redfern and change from there for a direct Olympic Park service.
Well done Craig Bolton for getting the co- captaincy in 2008.

Your determination, your tenacity and your under-rated skill is why you have become my favourite player!

        Hi All,

This ones slightly tricky. Also travelling up from Melbourne for game and will be spending Saturday at Randwick trying to back a winner or two. Last race is at 4.35pm...

        First question?
1)Will I have enough time to get from the track out to stadium for ball up?
2)What would be the fastest/easiest way of getting out there?

Appreciate any advice your guys can provide.

        Thanks.

          Yes.... Piece of piss....

Bus to central or Cab... I say bus first as cabs maybe scarce though if it's raining, and not a big meet, cabs should be plentiful. Otherwise, a bus to "railway" or "central" will get you there in about 15-20mins...

Train is pretty quick if you get the "stadium" express... About 20 - 25 mins...

You should still have tiome to see the last, skull your can, catch the bus/cab and train and be at the brewery for a cple of ales prior to the bounce!

i've tried that a couple of times and it's slower than the newtown-redfern -homebush route.
then again, i think it would be worth trying 15-16 players on field so what would i know

You'd need to get the quaddie up to pay for a couple of ales at the Brewery

Not even sure that they have a quaddie in Sydney.
