Don't know why Doyle's name is consistantly brought up.

Semi decent ruckman are very difficult to find. Spida at 33 isn't going to be around for too long. Doyle is traded - Spida retires...then what???
The eternal connundrum "what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object" was finally solved when David Hasselhoff punched himself in the face.

I think he's an excellent ruckman and also a decent forward option when he's on the paddock.

Problem is that he's brittle, and he's rarely on the paddock. I doubt he will be chopped unless they see a lot of potential in the younger guys.

Others come to mind but like many I can forgive much about Jude because of his comittment and his attitude, would have to be critical of Fossie on two counts (lack of 1%, especially shepherding and poor marking o'head) but his ball-getting ability and general football brain are important to the team.

..its only the judds who land them all on a chest! it wd really surprise me if he was up for trade..and , of course, thoughts of getting rid of fossie are sheer lunacy!
His clearances are fine!!! You mean his scrubby little love taps from a pack. His field kicking is appalling. You must be gagging. His weaknesses include goal snaps, strewth he doesn't get close enough for a snap, it is more like his set shots a centimetre out dead in front that is his problem.

Better get those specs checked quick smart old bean.

without giving the time to read the whole thread, I'd say that I agree with hammo that Fosdike has been ok this season.

He's not a star and probably never will be, bt he sure as hell is kicking Jude ass out of the ground.

Most teams have midfielders that perform a role - well.

West Coast have all the stars - bully for them.
We have all the star forwards - that does as much for us as WC do with all the star midfielders.

In the end you need a well rounded team, and I'd have to say that Jude is trade bait for sure.

He sure as hell isn't worth what he is purported to be being paid, and I was pretty surprised at the end of last year that given WHAT he is supposed to be earing, we didn't try and trade him and have th new team take over his contract.

                      Anyway, he HAS to go.
Providing something better is one offer.
