    Bulldogs v Saints (SPOILERS)

Draw! Sucks to be either team because that's as good as a loss for them. Somewhat good for us of course but we shouldn't really be looking at teams below us.

I was just thinking that a draw was bad for us in a way. Means BOTH Bulldogs and St Kilda are now ahead of us on the ladder, rather than simply one team.

Unbelievably if Brisbane win this weekend they will be in the 8

The other negative to consider is the fact that our great percentage is now irrelevent to 3 fellow finals aspirants in Brisbane, St Kilda and Bulldogs.

I am convincing myself more that this draw was NOT good for us at all.

It will depend on whether we win on Sunday. If we win, its good, if we lose, its bad.

Saints Dogs thread (title amended to remove spoiler)

A draw between Saints and Dogs....possibly a good result for Sydney...assuming we beat Melb????!!!!

Only if we lose to Melbourne, which we won't. A draw was the best possible result for Sydney. And I love to see the Saints hurt - and boy did they hurt when Sooky's set shot for goal fell short on the siren.

Mods - spoiler. But yes, I reckon best possible result for Sydney so long as we beat Melb, which we will.

Yeah, it means the 'aints and dogs arent really in contention for a top 6 (home final) spot, so statistically its good for us in a small way.

I'd have been much happier with a Saints loss.

I don't rate the Dogs' chances of making the eight. They are without a few key players and have a very tough run coming up opponent wise.

So for me, the Saints are the much bigger threat out of those two. And we already pretty much had the Saints covered percentage wise, unless there are some big scores scored or conceded by either them or us in the last week. So them only getting two points rather than four is neither here nor there. Them getting nil points, on the other hand, would have been a handy outcome for us. So long as we beat them next weekend, may not be an issue, but I'm really nervous about our ability to cover an in fit and in super form Riewoldt, not to mention Gehrig and Koschitske lurking next to him.

                            Sorry 'bout spoiler....

Sorry about the spoiler...it was early morning where I am in the US

Didn't think, and sure won't do it again.

I woulda been super angry if I'd been waiting for a replay.

Don't worry Swans500, there was a spoiler warning in the title from the time The Hood started the thread when the game finished live for us NSW folk.

I don't think cruiser was having a go at you. To be honest, I don't know WTF he is on about, the spoiler was well flagged from the beginning.
