Monty's run and subsequent goal was a great highlight, although he tried hard to stuff it up by giving a dodgy handball to Hall who wasn't quite in the clear. But The Demons defence was poor enough that it didn't really matter in the end.

A few other highlights I enjoyed, Malceski's wobbly old kick that went through for a goal.
Schneider's feign one way on the wing, then just ran off his opponent.
Bevan giving the dummy pass then running off. Some great disposal.
Malceski, burning off Pickett, so easily.
    Goodes form.
Jolly was running aroiund like a midfielder, and continues to be much more dangerous up forward than he did last year.
Some very slick handballs, when under intense pressure, that actually hit targets.

(I've only seen the first half)

That's a bit harsh. There was a replay from an angle straight down the ground that showed he had no one to kick to!

Good report liz, I think you've captured how lethargic the Demons were on the day. I think of the bottom 3 that we've played recently, their's was the worst performance of the lot.

Yes i realised there was no one there, but the handball wasn't that flash. Just pointing out it could've easily been a turnover instead of the play of the day.

I also liked the few minutes of play (1st Qtr), where he ran like a rabid dog, crash tackling anything in sight. Good to see him back running and tackling hard. Look forward to the bandage head.

The handball was a shocker - would have been a turnover against a half-decent side.

Once again, job well done guys.

Melbourne were hopeless on the day.
It's a pity that we didn't capitalise on that and blow our percentage through the roof.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
