Seating for Pies game at the G

It seems that the collingwood cheer squad sit at ponsford end so the swans one will be in southern stand for once.Can anybody in CS confirm?
If true then all be careful when buying on tix online,it is only showing ponsford stand M30(which is right next to the feral CS)also choosing best available brings up the same spot.

I am trying to work out why it wont let me buy tix anywhere in the ground..

I tried to buy tickets today and the lady warned me about the cheer squad too, seems the pies just like being difficult and chose to sit on the other side. and yeh for some reason there only selling ponsford stand for the game. usually we buy olympic stand so we can watch the players on the bench but for some reason there making that side general admin for the game. so yeh its not just the computer, apparently they thought it wouldnt be such a big game so there not releasing as many reserve seats as they usually would.

seems like its a better bet to just go general on the day, lol that is unless ur happy to sit with joffa and his mates - lol as the lady at ticketmaster described it to me today "a fate worse then death!"

Collingwood have a deal with the MCC where their members get use of the Ponsford Stand so for eveyone that is thinking of going the Southern Stand and Olympic Stand will be the areas where the Swans supporters will be.

Can expect a crowd of up to 50,000 depending on weather so no need to pre purchase tickets just rock up to gate and buy.

maybe if u call them or get to an outlet u might have better luck? that way u can pick exactly the area u want. i do it all the time with the cricket

if the pies win the next 2 and so do we then i reckon it'll be 65+ considering the last 8 games have averaged over 52,000 and alot of those were when the Pies have been in the bottom 4

Why not just rock up on the day? I am assuming we will be at the GSS end as well. I'll check with the CS Pres to confirm things 100%.

Maybe we can tell the club to direct all Swans fans to the the GSS so we can all be in one big area all loud and yelling.

I will have 3-4 people staying at my place that weekend by the look of things. I hope lots come down for it. I'm expecting 60000!

I dont think you quite get it Captain. Do that as you say, I will be eargerly be waiting your after match report. There is a fair chance you will so distracted by an alien race that you will miss much of the game.

hahaha i was thinking of a similar thing although of a more violent nature
my idea was to roll joffa for his jacket and either burn it or take a leak on it.

I have travelled to most away games and a fair amount of time sat amongst the opposition supporters. Nothing pleases me more then giving it to the other side.
