4 points has a nice ring about it.

A garden gnome each, a swans merchandise voucher and a dvd (mine was a cooking one).

I also won a dvd recorder thanks to OldRoyBoy's wonderful knowledge

Well, I won a full sized sherrin football worth $120, for being the highest scoring swans supporter in the AFL dreamteam competition the other week.

            Stick that in your pipe!
            Ed Considine's day out - Round 3, 16th April 1995.
11 Kicks, 13 Handballs, 8 Marks, 1 Goal, 1 Behind, 1 Tackle, 1 Hitout, 3 Brownlow votes (his only votes)

              A top night.

We scored Jarred McVeigh on our table, who was wearing the BEST pair of Italian shoes.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

Did you delivered on that promise you made to him as he was lining up for his 3rd goal????

When he came to the table I praised him like I did on Saturday night ... I told him that he needed to see it "live".
After I delivered on this promise, he was extremely VERY, VERY happy.

I'm sure the players never tire of meeting the fans

                        Yep. You're right.

Getting paid a couple of hundred k a year to play a game you love in front of 40,000 screaming fans who worship you would be a terrible life....

Don't be like that. Apart from the swannies, we really have nothing in common. He's into surfing and golf ... so am I - if it means that the bloke is going to be away for the whole weekend!!
Thank God for his sake that his game has picked up in the last couple of weeks ... it made it easier to be nice to him, and not let him have it (in front of his face rather than behind his back) for being so crap this season.
He DOES want to go to the granny.

What a fantastic night, never won a thing but we had a ball. We had Davo at our table, sooooooo different to how I imagined he'd be - he is the funniest, funniest bloke, an absolute delight to talk to, but unfortunately, not the greatest trivia buff in the world, oh well can't have everything! Will definitely be going again next year.

That last comment hardly surprises me given the way he read the questions out when it was his turn.
