How do you hope to be remembered when you retire from your sport?

To be one of the greatest footballers to have played the game
I'm glad he's not putting too much pressure on himself

Might have to get MO'L and Goodesy to drop round to his place and have a chat with him...

If he's the real deal, he'll get picked up before we have the chance. That's the trade-off when the Swans has been performing well for years.

Well lets hope we can get him, and that our recruiting staff dont @@@@ it up.
Now this is a thread that i would expect on the ego -centric, wank session that is redandwhiteonline.com...

Kepler Bradley was a huge Swans fan too. Do we regret not drafting him?

(No observation on the boy's talent - just irrelevance of who he barracks for.)

From his birthdate, he doesn't turn 17 until December this year which means he's not eligible for this year's draft.

Maybe by next year we'll be fighting it out for a top 5 draft pick.

Courtesy of some savvy trading right, Liz? Certainly wouldn't be thanks to our ladder position!
And the man who started it all, the Schneiderman . . . . .

                People remember this thread?

The kid made his senior WAFL debut last weekend (for the Swans!), kicking 7 goals in a BOG performance. That was after kicking 5 goals in the pre-season comp semi-final.

I wonder if he still hopes to play for us...

It really depends on how well he performs for the rest of the WAFL season. If he has a superb season, chances are he'll be picked up early in the Draft and we may miss out on drafting him (depending on the Swans' performance in 2008). The Eagles and Dockers will watch closely on all potential WA-based players nominated in the draft and might poach him.

Was at the game. Definitely looks like a first round prospect.

The side he was playing against would struggle in the Canberra comp though.

However, the side he kicked 5 against in the pre-season comp are very strong.

Just on Kepler Bradley, he started in the WAFL on the weekend and played like an absolute crab. It sucks because he plays for West Perth, which is my WAFL club. Won't play another AFL game, bookmark it.

Really? @@@@. He's in my SuperCoach and DreamTeam (albeit as my second reserve defender). I thought a change of scenery might have done him good, but apparently not.
Officially on the Reid and Sumner bandwagon!

Haven't seen him yet he would need to show heaps to oust Daniel Rich as the the best young talent over here
Rich is going to be a real star midfielder

I think Naitanui is a better prospect than Rich. Rich is a very classy player but Naitanui is just a freak.

So Daniel Rich has been crap in the last few weeks. From what I heard he looked too slow today, even at WAFL level. It seems all the initial hype surrounding this kid may of been unjustified.

But our boy Chris Yarran is going along nicely. He was well held today but his previous few WAFL games have been awesome. Here's a picture of him from today's game ImageShack - Hosting :: 200806280036zj7.jpg

Click on that picture to make it bigger. As you can see he's a good size for a modern day forward pocket and looks very fit.
