Ebert kicking a point would have been the perfect outcome for us - would pretty much have brought us back to where we were had we won. Actually would have been almost a perfect weekend's result because we'd have been just a game behind BOTH Hawks and Power, with Power to play Geelong next week and us still to create our own result against the Hawks.

Imagine it if both Brown and Ebert had missed their shots. *Sigh*

Just hasn't been our year, really. The Port result confirmed it. Unfortunate, but it happens. We're still not a bad side, just haven't been able to get it together.

I think that's pretty true. 2 games lost by 1 point plus a tie, that's 10 premiership points- add them on and we have 56 and are in 2nd place (ignoring other results for the sake of feeling sorry for ourselves). Sucks, but it happens.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Port were very lucky again against the Cats today! Thrilling final few minutes..

And just in top 2 by 0.4%, I hope they destroy the Cokers come the finals.
