Thought he was OK last night given it was his second game against a team who dominated.

Didn't see his first game, and if I had I would have had a suggestion for a nickname for him.

Thought it was Craig Bolton for the first few times I saw him.

I thought the same a few times he came into shot and I thought it was B2. If he can be half as good as B2 I'd be happy.

He was that good the previous week. Poor bloke had an absolute shocker against the Pies but I guess these things happen.

To his credit though, he didn't try to hide. Many young fellows would find places to go where the ball wasn't after making their 4th or 5th blue in only their second game. But he kept trying to present in space and make something happen.

This is where we find something out about him - where things get hard, not when they seem as easy as they did against Brisbane. The natural reaction would be to send him back to the twos after Saturday but the holidays for Brennan, Buchanan, Hall and possibly O'Loughlin next week mean that he'll probably get another go. And I'll be very glad if he does get another chance straight away to see if he can find a middle ground.

It's a tough gig playing your first two games interstate with two quality opponents at an important stage of the season, especially at a large stadium with tens of thousands of spectators (incl. ferals). I hope a more established surrounding will settle the nerves.

to me it seemed to show how ordinary the canberra league is.

It wasnt so much his skills that were bad but the amount of time he thought he had to dispose of the ball.

We cant expect a new player to be a good player untill at least 20+ games and i think he could become a really good player.

I would be disapointed if he was dropped this week.

I think a good pre season would do him the world of good.

Remember back to how many games we gave LRT before he was anything but a liability. The same could be said for Hawthorns Franklin and Roughead.

The Swans really need to decide which players they want long term and play them for a longer period of time rather than the 1-2 weeks and then drop them back to the 2's.

9 kicks, 8 handballs, 6 marks (at least 1 contested), 9 tackles , 1 goal, a ridiculous amount of running.

Must be in with a good shout for a Rising Star nomination given its the last round. And a good chance to be dropped

he had a better game this week but again appeared really slow out there. What do you think?

I didn't think he was particularly slow, but not as quick as he was made out to be by Andrew Ireland. He was perhaps a bit rash in playing on at times but he was also very good with his defensive work and did a few nice things when he had the ball.

He looks slow in the same manner as DRJ used to - but he does cover the ground pretty quickly.
