    O'Loughlin is useless

Another average game from this guy.....

I know it is close to the end of the season (and his career) but surely a run in the two's wouldn't hurt.

    Basically done nothing all year.

Anyone think any differently? Please provide the stats to back it up....

    The audacity!!!
Leave Mick alone. For an old man, he can still spin on a five cent piece.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

        Stats cannot lie....

        kicks 154
        handballs 76
        poss 230
        marks 91
        ho 0
        t 30
        ff 17
        fa 21
        goals 31
        behinds 12

Over 20 rounds he is averaging 10 points per game (1.5 goals)

And only 11.5 possessions per match or 2.875 possessions a qtr.

Also gives away more free's than he receives?.

His year has been overrated by some on here. But a run in the 2's?

          Don't be ridiculous.

At 72% accuracy I would consider him "On Fire" compared to some of our other forwards!

That would be like putting someone like Shane Crawford down to the seconds just cause he didn't lay on a tackle for a few weeks.

Micky has done the hard yards ... I'd rather have him on the field than not. At his worst, he'll always have at least one defender on him (if not two) opening up our forward line for someone else to come in and bag one (well, in an ideal world anyway).

He still causes major headaches for other coaches.

Sounds like you need to update your dream team then..... Because that's about the only team he'll be getting dropped from!

He certainly hasnt done much lately, but there is no one in the 2's who you'd replace him with.

Be nice if he lifted for the finals.

I think his season has been okay, with occasional splashes of brilliance, but certainly not at the high levels some people have said. He's very much like Davis. Never going to be a frequent, game-in game-out contributor, but rather is always potentially dangerous. Dropping him makes little sense.

Mick's done the hard yards and doesn't need to prove himself to anyone - least of all the selectors.
He's earned his spot on the living legends list and barring injury, I can see no reason to drop him down to the magoos at any time.
