No I have no doubts about it.

With Spida in the side we would have been back to back premiers, and possibly given the club the option to leave Jolly out, knowing his mind would not have been on the job.

Except that Spida spent the second half of last season injured.

Who knows whether he'd still have got injured had he been playing for us.

As for Spida ... once again, what's the use of having the best tap ruckman in the business when there's no-one there to tap the ball to?

Honestly, I think I can only remember twice when Spida's tapped down the perfect ball and it's got straight down someone's throat and we've goaled from it in less than a minute.

For an old man, he's not doing too badly. You've got to respect talent like that.
