    I'm dubious...
The healing of a ruptured tendon to the thumb involves an operation to either take a tendon from the foot, or a spare, smaller tendon from the index finger, attach it to the top of the ruptured tendon and then not move it AT ALL for 8-10 weeks. If those stitches undo, you're up @@@@tola creek without a paddle. The thumb will be rendered useless. It's the same for a ruptured tendon of the finger. It's serious stuff.

I know this, 'cause I just got back to work after the same operation back in early May.

One one hand I feel poor bloke, on the other I feel it couldn't have happened to a better person.

Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

And here I thought he did it practising his squirrel grip technique - needed improvement after his effort on Sam Mitchell.

        I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

I just heard on ABC news radio they are operating today and should be out 4-5 weeks with a possible return IF the Illeagals make the GF.

Spot on Missy and Whoosha said today too that if it means dropping 1 or 2 spots on the ladder,he will rest Judd so he is fireing for the finals.Hansen was out with the same problem for 6 weeks which is a good sign for us.
Now this is a thread that i would expect on the ego -centric, wank session that is redandwhiteonline.com...

If they lose to the Saints this week in Melbourne, they are no cert's to beat Essendon in the last round considering it will be Hird & Sheedy's final game for the Bombers.

That would open up a spot in the four if we can win our last two.

I am more convinced than ever that if we win our last two we will sneak into the top 4.

Capt Crybaby would need a blinder to beat the wee girls.

I'll be at the game and hoping the ainters get up.

Oh diddums. Poor kerrie, at least he didn't damage his sniffer!

WCE might struggle to win their last two but they will win at least 1 of them I feel. I think without Keer the egos will struggle to win the flag- he has been carrying them for much of the year imo... especially with the continuing doubt over the fitness of Judd.

I think our best hope to make the 4 is to cheer on Carlton this weekend and the Dogs next weekend against the Rooboys. But then if the Cats knock off the Power then there is hope there as well- as Freo while there season may as such be over they have a decent record playing in adelaide and could knock off Port. Bigges thing is we have to hold up our end of the bargain- which in itself wont be a simple task!
