    Melbourne-based Club Drug Allegations

    Given that it's headline news throughout AFL-playing states I thought it would be worth having our own discussion.

    Channel 7 ran with this story last night and has sent this particular club into damage control.

    WARNING: As a result of this there is currently an injunction in effect so no names of either the club or players are to be mentioned at this stage.

    Apologies for the vague nature of the post.
    And the man who started it all, the Schneiderman . . . . .

                          I read about it before the injunction was placed, or I thought I did. I'm sure I wasn't imagining it.

                          HOW DO DOCUMENTS END UP IN A GUTTER?

                          How gullible do they think people are. Some one has been paid lots for this....to carefully place it in a gutter and someone just happens to walk passed and picks it up before it blows away....yeah...right.

                                      Steve Quarterbrain even ran with it friday night,he said as they were going to the break 'And some big drama/controversy at ????????' or something to that effect.but then we he came back he said he couldnt run with it.

                                      I went onto bigfooty that night,and they had the team name splashed all over it,and even some names were mentioned.

                                                  Journalism at its worst. You have to question what the public interest is in airing confidential medical records handed in by someone off the street.

                                                  Drugs in sport or not, and from my understanding this does not involve performance enhancing drugs, if it's a health issue it should be between doctor and patient.

                                                  Channel 7 's morals are in the same gutter those documents were allegedly found.
