Carn the blues... Rd 21 Cheering guide....

We need Kangas to drop a game... Let's hope it's this one.... Though their game against the bulldogs next week might be the most important game in our season!

Geelong knocking off Port will help but we'll still need them to lose against Fremantle next week for that to make any difference.

The rest is in our hands......

StKilda losing helps our cause. Increases our chances of making the 8.

I still found myself going for the Sainters last night. I just can't bring myself to cheer for the Eagles and if we need other side's help to make the top half of the competition then we don't deserve to win it.

The difference in standard from last night's game to this Blues/Roos match is remarkable. Last night had finals-like intensity. This match has Canberra League intensity.
And the man who started it all, the Schneiderman . . . . .

Carlton are getting flogged, as expected. No real point cheering on a team that are tanking in order to get priority draft picks.
I only support one team: The SYDNEY SWANS!!!!! :adore

If we didn't drop games we should win we wouldn't have to continually rely on other teams losing.

Damn you Carlton. Hopefully the Bulldogs will have a better chance of beating the Roos.

Feeling depressed about our top 4 chances now.

Kangaroos were good today, and I can't see the Bulldogs challenging them in Round 22. That said, emotions may play a part. The Kangaroos game against Carlton in Round 21 represented Glenn Archer's 300th game. The Bulldogs game in Round 22 will represent the final games from two greats of that club, Chris Grant and Luke Darcy. (Matthew Robbins will also be retiring) So the Bulldogs will be both relatively relaxed and emotional, a good combination. Fingers crossed.

The other hope is for Freo to beat Port in Adelaide. An unlikely situation, although remember back in Round 16, with a new caretaker coach, when the Dockers won in Adelaide against the Crows by 25 points.

Interestingly, at the start of this season, just about everybody believed that both the Bulldogs and Freo were likely top 4; whilst hardly anyone predicted that either the Kangaroos nor Port Power would make the 8.

Well our chances going into this round were very slim anyways.

Well if Richmond win, we're guaranteed a spot in the finals - woopee doo! Otherwise its possible (yet unlikely) that come Sunday we're actually playing for a spot in the 8.

I'm shuddering at the thought of cheering on Collingwood to beat the Crows come Friday night.

I tipped the tiges. I reckon they just might do it this week.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
