    Jared Crouch 200 and out

Maybe premature but i think last night spelt it out. should have been given his 200th against the Tigers even on one leg and not against the Pies when there was all to play for. Father time has caught up and he isnt a tenth of the player he was. Was a great player in his day and who ll forget the stoushes against akker, it seems crotch has now become crutch.
Thanks for being a great club stalwart and hopefully there is still something you can do at the club, but as player time for younger blood.
And added to that another close to 200 gamer to follow you to retiement.

Notice in the paper this morning that Crouch "conveniently" has a groin injury. No question he got a game to bring up the 200.

We are no longer a powerhouse in the AFL. For goodness sake move on these over the hill 2005 heroes and bring on the next era of the club before it is too late.

Crouch is gone. I'm pleased for him though that he got his 200th game. MOL appears gone too - he could have a big farewell game at the SCG next weekend. And Hall needs to have a long, hard look at his performance this year and ask himself whether he can contribute next year.

IMHO Hall not being 100% fit for virtually the entire season has caused a lot of his poor form - not being able to really get away on the lead, pressure in defence etc etc. Is anyone saying the same thing about Judd? After all, his year this year has been well down on his usual standards.

I'm hoping that over the off season Hall can get back to 100%, have a strong pre-season and be back to his best next year. Having said that, some work on leading with hands out in front to mark with arms outstretched on the lead instead of chest marking wouldn't go astray.

            I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

I agree on Crouch but not Hall and IMO Micky is 50/50.

Gee I hope Micky O isnt finished as I still feel he has plenty to offer us. If he is, I will be making the trip to the SCG next week for sure (I wasnt going to as Im very angry about last night!). I think maybe if the talk of Hall going to boxing comes up we should maybe look to push him that way- if the rules dont change back and they wont I dont think he is now a tenth of the player he was. the game has almost passed him by I think and maybe its time to go. Id love to see ROK play a full season at CHF would be deadly imo.

Crouch must go though- surely he will retire as the game certainly has passed him by.

One thing for sure is that we will have a longer pre season this time around.

This might, I stress might just bring in some new thinking on how the season is set up and give the coaching staff some think time on a new game plan. Or will it simply mean an extended holiday in the US for Roosey and his tribe.

Liability. I hope for his sake he chooses the dignified retirement option rather than being delisted.

Roos' playing favourites again and look where it gets us.

yep, a commentator (could be Walls) mentioned that he desperately needs the off-season to work on his contested marking with the new rule interpretations. All he can do now is mark on the lead on his chest.

Interesting that in the pre-game of the Bombers Tigers game, they had Bombers players talking about Sheeds and Lloyd said his first training, he took a mark and was told to run 4 400s by Sheedy and then later told he wouldn't make it if he kept marking on his chest, he had to get arms outstretched in front.

Crouch is finished. They should have brought him back for a game that wasn't so important.

Hall's poor form is not because of his injury IMO - it's because he can't cope with new rule interpretation because his overhead marking is crap.

Yep you could see it all over Hall's face when he was running back with the flight of the ball. He was in great position but he was terrified of even touching Wakelin, thus coughing up what looked an easy mark early in the 4th.

Obviously Dempster is not in Roosys goodbooks either...Surely we could have done with his extra height and pace in the backline.
