    Tickets for Sat Night

Purchased my tickets this morning on line and printed them on line. Was interesting to note that I did not need to quote my membership #.

I just bought tickets through the website and have printed them off. Im not a Swans member & have not had to provide any barcodes, will i need to provide any members passes at the gate or just walk in??

A swans member i know has said that i will have to walk through a certain gate to show to scan the bar codes but ive not heard of this.

You'll be right to walk straight in mate. They don't really have the time to check that the memberships add up to the tickets.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

Logged on at 9:10am this morning, straight through and bought my ticket through the Non Vic based members section on the website. Printed my ticket and all done.

Although I am a legitimate member, there is a loop hole for those who are not members. I am sitting in N54.

My plan to use barcodes from Sydney didn't work, due to operator from Ticketmaster demanding that I produce all cards when picking up the tickets on Saturday night.

Does anyone have a couple of adult Victorian barcodes that are not being used this weekend?

What happened to printing the tickets of t'interweb and using them?

Are there any major concerts coming up in Melbourne, If so join the queue for that and they'll be too busy and stressed to check membership cards.

Still can do it, but I was spooked by the message saying that they need to check membership cards at the turnstiles on the night. I know that was not going to happen but I want a stress free night without the worry.

In the end I got an un used Vic barcode to finish off my order.

I was wanting to buy 4 tickets for Melb based members and 1 ticket for a Sydney based member, and naturally wanted us all to sit together.
Simply clicked on the link for "Members buying family tickets" and selected 3 adults, and 2 kids. Picked the tickets up from Ticketmaster yesterday. Not once did I enter any info about my membership or have to show my membership tickets when collecting.

Are they blocking roads at the airport? I better leave a bit of time to get there for my flight on Saturday.

Good idea Nat ... I was at International on Monday morning picking up my mother. It was chaos. Federal and state police everywhere. Don't know about domestic, but I'd leave early, just in case.

Typical Ticketmaster, I wanted to pick the tickets up as well before Saturday (knowing that they would never check for member cards then) but was told that the only collection was at the ground which is a nightmare.

With your tickets the web does warn that memberships will need to be shown at the gate but that is highly unlikely to happen on Saturday night as all they will want to do is get people inside the ground.

Total farce of a system, in terms of making it user friendly and consistent across all membership types but I think this has alot to do with how the Sydney memberships don't have the required barcodes for the MCG system.

DST after i bought my tickets on monday at about 9:45 i went straight away and picked them up at t/master.It still took me an hour to get into the shop as the queue was out the door and i had to show my members tickets.
Now this is a thread that i would expect on the ego -centric, wank session that is redandwhiteonline.com...

If we make the GF this year I will tolerate the inconveniences that come with trying to get a ticket.
