"(Hall's) pulled up sore with his groin injury (but) we'll give him every chance to play," Roos said on Sydney radio station 2KY.

Roos said the injury his spearhead is carrying is taking away from some of his greatest strengths.

"I think with the groin injury, when you look at exactly what he's got, a lot of it is the powerbase and setting yourself when you're marking," he said.

I did see that he had pulled up sore with his groin injury but that he had also picked up a hammy on Saturday night as well.

    Here you go.

While Hall has been carrying a groin injury, Roos says the co-captain now also has a hamstring problem and a week's rest is on the cards ahead of a knockout elimination final the following weekend.
"It's up to the rest of the players in the room to make a new batch of premiership players next year," Adam Goodes, triple Bob Skilton Medallist, October 7, 2011.

You'd be out injured too if your hamstring finished in your groin.

This is truly a non story.

Sydney would be derelict in their duty if they didn't give Hall the week off. I'm surprised that more aren't flagged as having a week off. Come gametime Sunday i hope anybody with a niggle has a spell.

If only, we at the martyrs of eternal fornication never get a rest.

I guess we will get our rest at the pearly gates.

I'm curious how his groin injury makes the ball go through his hands. Then again, maybe I don't want that answered!
Very simple, he is limited to no more than 20 minutes on the track each week where he can get a feel of the leather at full pace and with body contact.

Come game day he has lost his touch and therefore has not been anywhere near as sure with his hands at full pace or under body pressure.

It's like most things in life the more you do it, the greater the capacity to be able to do it for longer.
