    Farewell Cookie (retirements)

I heard the other day that Troy Cook is retiring at the end of this season. Join me in wishing this former Swan who, despite leaving Sydney, was still a popular player with many Swans supporters. I was always sorry we traded him. All the best to ya Cookie.

Disappointed that this thread isn't about Syd Heylen.

Best wishes to Troy. I enjoyed watching him play for the Swans and the Dockers. Loved his hair too.

Now I know why the AFL isn't doing the traditional GF motorcade for retiring players - too many of them!

God I loved Cookie and his hair.
Had he stayed, he would have got a premmie medal.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
