    Weird feeling

I'm just having b'fast ready to head to the ground for the 2's and for the first time in memory from heading off to the SCG for 25 years I have this weird 'I don't care if we win or lose' feeling.

No doubt when I get there and the game starts I'll be yelling as hard as ever, but at the minute I have this sort of feeling that because it appears on paper a loss gives us an easier run to at least the Prelim, I am completely ambivalent about todays result, just want to see no injuries and good games from the fringe players to give them some confidence leading into the finals.

Anybody else feel the same way?

That's exactly how I'm feeling at the moment. I'm usually somewhat nervous before a game, but today I couldn't really care less.

Off to the magoos. (I think I'm more concerned about the reserves losing today than the seniors!)

i don't buy into the "easy path" theory as i believe form and confidence are far more important than the draw.

i'm hoping for the team to fire on all cylinders, crush hawthorn and scare the hell out of next weeks opponent.
then again, i think it would be worth trying 15-16 players on field so what would i know

While you never want to see your team lose I don't care if we do, so long as we don't play badly or cop any injuries. I'm glad the club and AFL took no notice of people like me calling for this game to be moved to Telstra Stadium.

Win and play the pies, most probably at the MCG. We have a better track record there than the Dome.
