On SEN it has been confirmed by Dr Peter Brookner that Ablett has a strained medial ligament and is out for the season.

Shame for him, but I doubt we'll miss him.

Which bit isn't nice? Everyone has a view on different players - no different to people saying we wouldn't miss Bevan or Mathews or someone else.

At least for his sake he will be right for pre-season training.

That's a shame for NOG. It makes sense now why he was grabbing above his knee since that and tightening of the calf are the two areas that indicate the strain (only reason I know that is because I strained/slight tore my medial in the same knee three times in one year.

But not everyone bags those players whenever they are mentioned.

I don't often agree with you bloods, but I'm in your camp on this one, I don't think his absence will overly effect the team.

He is a ball receiver. Loves to get the ball on the run after everyone else has gone in and gotten it for him.

Schmidt and Cheese play similar games. I'd like to see him there. But him being out is not as bad as having Tagdh or Leo out.

You are joking JF, aren't you? Do you actually watch the game? This is not how Ablett plays.

Sorry to hear that he hurt himself ... that's never noice.
As far as the game goes ... we'll be right without him.
