Roosy just said that Barry Hall was 95% certain to play and Tadhg was about 80% certain - looking positive.

If you add those odds together you get 175% certainty that both will play. AWRIIIIGHT!

It's actually a 76% chance that both will play. Still pretty good.

Only if you assume that the two are independent of each other...

I'd imagine they are, unless they are required to do body work on each other in the final fitness test and take each other out!

Yes. I was assuming that since both would be regarded as automatic inclusions if fit, irrespective of the other's inclusion.

I'm thinking now that if Kennelly is included, then Crouch may be dropped. If I remember correctly, Crouch was included as a replacement for Kennelly and Roos made a point that they were similar players (which I think was debated considerably on this site). But of course, new game, new logic.

You can't add probabilities like that. Ludwig is right.

That's assuming of course that Roos's percentage are accurate. I'd say there's a 25% chance of error.

And a 34% chance that he's playing games anyway.

Putting that quote through the Roos-speak-o-meter....

Hall will play but will be at 75% fitness.
Kennelly is out for the season.

I wonder what the 5% doubt on Hall is caused by.
