That's not right. There are 20 premiership players on the list and some would command some decent exchanges with the right clubs.
Some potential trade baits are -
Buchanan
Schneider
O'Keefe
Ablett
J.Bolton
Dempster
Davis
Malceski
Jolly
Fosdike
Everyone has there favourites but there seems to be universal acceptance by everyone except Paul Roos that the current list won't win us another premiership.
Chris Tarrant was traded by Collingwood for a first round pick - they ended up with 2 top 10 picks last year. That's how to rebuild a list.
Pies received Ben Reid for Taz - Reid didn't play on Saturday & had very little impact on where they are today. Far more impact came from their priority picks & from some excellent rookie selections. Neither involved trading.Comment

Roos has already said Sydney will trade their way back to the top with recycled players so if that's the case he'll need to offer quality players to get the sort of quality he presumably wants to bring in."As everyone knows our style of football is defensive and unattractive, and as such I have completely forgotten how to mark or kick over the years" - Brett Kirk

I respect your difference of opinion, but I would have to say that these that you listed weren't good trades.
that's just my opinion, but if you think they contributed to the club and would like to add them to my list of what I consider excellent trades, then so be it.The difference between insanity and genius is measured only in success.Comment

No-one is suggesting he get traded for having an average year, but pointing out he would be one on our list who would command a lot of interest from other clubs to help us get what we need such as an established midfielder.
You need to give up something to get what you want in return which is why talk of trading Mathews, Crouch, Bevan etc is a pointless exercise.
Of course I don't want to lose O'Keefe, IMO he is one of our most important players, but it DOES happen for the right trade and we should be prepared for losing a player.
If everyone here has small opinions of B1, Matthews, McVeigh, Fosdike etc, then what opinion do you think the other clubs will have.
If they're not worth much, they're maybe not worth trading. The difference between insanity and genius is measured only in success.Comment

Hardly.
Unlikely to happen, but a logical trade that would leave both clubs better off IMO."As everyone knows our style of football is defensive and unattractive, and as such I have completely forgotten how to mark or kick over the years" - Brett Kirk
