Definitely, but it requires Roos to stop with his ridiculous 'loyalty' plan.

Would like to see what a full preseason does for Crouch and Ablett. I think they are both better than they showed this year.

        Not a bad summary.

Think Davo was better than 5/10 though. Not sure why he's so harshly rated. I reckon he had as a good a year as O'Loughlin.

There's no way Moore, Phillips, Grundy, Vogels, Doyle, Mathews, Crouch and J.Bolton will all go in the one year though.

Rightly or wrongly I reckon Moore, Phillips, Grundy, Mathews, Crouch and Bolton will all survive.

Doctor Swan is wrong in thinking that all of McVeigh, Mathews, Bolton.J, Crouch and Bevan will go. Roos wants to try for another high finish in 2008 with his current list. I think he has to begin rebuilding gradually. Some should go and they should build up through draft picks and WISE trades. Players like Laidlaw, Schmidt, Barlow, and Moore must be retained and the youngsters such as Jack be given some game time. The big need in the long run is to put some size in the backline. I am very disappointed that Vogels was not given a biiger go. We'll never know if he can play and he will probably go elsewhere. I hope White develops next season because he looks like he is a chance.

dr swan is not thinking that they will all go, some will stay its merely my opinion as to how i was feeling in my mad rage on sat night. now i have calmed down and looked at things rationally maybe i ll add a point or 2 to some players but it wont be many.
realitically we will delist doyle , faulks from rumours abt attitude, moore , phillips and vogels and maybe a retirement we need to creat 3 spots for the draft and we will have 3 rookie elevations if they add jack as well to list.

Good summary. It is clear that some changes need to be made at the end of this year (just like any year) but it is good to see that people aren't all over-reacting and calling for drastic, panicky moves.

I would really like to see how Jesse White has been playing (those who get to see reserves, I would love to hear your opinions). He already has a large, strong body and will only get better. He can potentially grow into the strong-power forward position that we need and that Sydney fans have come to expect.

I think our delistings will come from the younger, fringe players ie Moore, Phillips etc which is a shame as it keeps us clinging even more tightly to an ageing list. What we need is a structure next year that will allow us a couple of places each week to bring in younger players for a few a games and let them play so they can get a feel for it. I feel sorry ffor young players who only get one match then straight back to the Ressies. What does that achieve?

Good ol' Tim Morrissey has been reading RWO again. Reading the captions of players in todays article in TDT I thought 'Ive read these before' then come onto RWO tonight and read doctor swans sumation of some of the players. Shocking!

I have just read that Doyle and Moore are still contracted. Phillips is in trouble. They have some hard decisions to make.
