HTB decisions were very dubious but not in a match loosing sense.
Agree entirely.

IMO I thought they were ok tonight. They missed a few HITB on our part - but mainly in the back half. It wouldn't have made much of a difference.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun. Blessedare the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.
Agree with Anni. They got the crowd frees that really weren't there, but we sure didn't help ourselves with stupid decisions either. And no way we could claim they cost us anything - we killed ourselves on our own.
The first half in particular I felt we were losing the game rather than the Pies winning it, but they definitely went out and won the game in the 2nd half when it was there for the taking.
I'm on the Chandwagon!!!
If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.
Gosh, I feel privileged, next thing you will be voting my way in November
Now you're just being silly!!

Go with the flow, bro. You don"t want to be a loser again, get on the winning train.
It's most likely that I will hate him less and I will take that train which is almost certainly going to win - hope it's not like crappy Connex though!!

Quarter one and two I thought the umpiring was fine.
Then, they turned on us big time.
Holding the ball decisions paid against us with very little lead time versus plenty of leeway for the Pies. A @@@@ load of pushes in the back went unnoticed when it was the Pies doing the pushing but when the situation was reversed.....
However, all in all, I agree with the general consensus - we blew it, umpires or not....
Our window is now closed. Prepare for quite a few years of bottom eight finishes. At best, we may make the finals next year but we will only in the same way that St Kilda has made the finals in years past - they were there but never quite there.
It's time to rebuild - develop that long, impatient line of rookies just waiting for a go.
Looking forward to it actually....
Captain, I am detecting large quantities of win in this sector
we were ordinary , and i hate blaming umpires BUT we are definitely umpired differently to our opponents in most matches..The umpires have a pre-conceived idea of the way we play.
we were terrible but that 3rd quarter I thought the Yellow maggots really lost it. Some of the HTB calls were just plain wrong.... and the lame commentators never commented on any of them till Collingwood got a 50/50 call and then all hell broke loose! It was at times like two sets of rules were in play, but as bad as the maggots were they werent the reason we lost.
