    Swans playing basketball

That's what it looked like tonight.
Maybe it was because I had to tape the game because I was on a plane, and when I got home I found the FF button being used quite a bit, but the Swans are playing more and more like a basketball team, where possession is of most importance.

perhaps Roosy has gone a bit too far into what makes a basketball team tick and needs to come back and give the players a bit of vigor and tempo.

In the end though, he's an easy target.
The team has been average all year, and finals were never really a viable option in retrospect.

My main interest in the finals now is to see the Wobbles, um wobble

You stupid idiot CTS. If they were playing basketball, we would've whipped them, as their whole team would've been fouled out of the game for too much contact.

I had the same experience. Went to the Silverchair/Powderfinger concert and managed to get home without knowing the score so I could watch the game "live".

Boy did that Fast Forward button get a work out!! I watched all of the good play by the Swans and the game took less than an hour to watch!

Come to think of it, might save myself some time next year and do that for all of the games.

I did that a few times this year when I couldn't catch the game live - most games barely lasted an hour!

haha, yeah, when the opposition get the ball, you FF until you see a Swan with the ball.
Unfortunately usually within a few seconds your thumb is in action again......

            I know.
            Very poor umpiring IMO
Look at all the fouls they missed.
How many times did I see a Swan tackled?
At least our team played fair and didn't touch the opposition players

              Positives thread

Some (no, wait, all!) of their attempted 'tackles' were terrible!

Pretty good. Didn't see the support act, but Silverchair & Powderfinger were good. Not much of a chair fan myself so they didn't really float my boat. Powderfinger however, were awesome. They ain't Australia's best rock band for nothing!
