Who would we like in the team?

If we're true to our recent history and go after a guy struggling to get gametime at another club, I'd like to see us go after Tom Murphy from Hawthorn.
Only played a handful of games for them but was taken in the same draft as Roughead and Franklin at pick 21.

Stop it you lot - you can all go and get nicked!!
I can't help it if our anglo-saxon brothers don't age as well as our indigenous brothers.
Black don't crack.Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.Comment

Why would Luke Ball come and play at the Swans when he can stay at a side like the Saints and win a premiership there ?
What about Luke Hodge or a good geelong player ?
Anyone out there from the cats that wants to come and play at the Swans ?
What about getting Steven King as a replacement ruck for Jolly ?Comment

What makes you think St Kilda are that close to winning a flag? They've missed the boat in my view - we pinched the flag they should / could have won in 2005.
I hope the rumours about the Swans being interested in Luke Ball are true. Brilliant footballer and if he gets fully fit will be a great acquisition. We'd need to give up a good player, probably a ruck or forward, to do it though. Saints have always rated J.Bolton highly as well.Last edited by hammo; 11 September 2007, 04:04 PM."As everyone knows our style of football is defensive and unattractive, and as such I have completely forgotten how to mark or kick over the years" - Brett Kirk

I saw the saints play well in patches last year and they do need a key forward now that Fraser has gone but they still have a pretty good team with the likes of Riewoldt and Goddard and Dal Santo and Montagna plus they still have a champion in Harvey who is most likely to play another season with them
I believe that if they can get a good ruckman and another good forward then they can be a force in 2008
What does everyone else think ? I think they have a much better midfield than the Swans as theirs is a lot quicker
We need pace in ours and more guys who can actually tackle well.We used to be a great tackling team but have dropped off a bit the last few yearsComment

look to the national draft from this year, has anyone seen Craig Bird play, hopefully he will be drafted by the swans, according to The National Talent Manager Kevin Sheehan, he is a top prospect.m smithComment
