    New Role for Old Players

Reading some of these threads after getting back from Melbourne I see a widespread feeling for a change of game plan. People seem to see Leo Barry as a fading light and I agree, but surely we need a new fast skillful midfielder as a top priority. Unless we change the role of Tadhg or Malceski.

In the last quarter our champion forward did a textbook spoil to stop a Collingwood player taking a mark 20m from our goal. Could Barry Hall be retrained/re-educated? Use his anger and presence to destroy someone elses forward line rather than our own? (Unless the rule changes HIB is a major hurdle) Leo's got enough bounce left to provide some rebound for a year or two and back-up defender.

Our backs are used to the spontaneous combustions of Leo. Hall maybe the answer! O'Keefe is aready replacement as a strong leading overhead mark. Our midfield won't be so intimidated when it looks forward.

    Any suggestions?
