Bugger, you beat me too it Jeffers!! I was going to say that the position of tall, unco project players is taken up by the Hyphen at the moment!!

Not having a crack at the Hyphen though. I thought he was not too bad on Saturday night, his disposal was not great, but his mobility and movement in a couple of dicey situations made me think that there was some hope for him for 2008.

I am waiting to be trashed for this... ha ha

i definetly agree thesting. Kind of (well very) disappointed the Hyphenator didnt get some game time earlier in the season. Injuries didnt help that is for sure, but Roos seemed awfully reluctant to play him, for with him I think its a matter of getting some serious game time in the 1sts to return to some resemblance of good form. He didnt do a lot in his 2 games but I feel he showed some signs that with a full pre season he will be all ready to go for a big 08. And I dont care what anyone thinks, but I feel when he is in form he is a critical cog in the backline setup, and we did miss his significantly this year at times.

one word and its a big NO, high draft pick who hasnt lived up to the hype and certainly not what we need here. remember our other bomber rejects o'connor and bomford, history does kind of repeat. let him go to freo.

Maybe he's the next Ted Richards?

Now with the new father/son rule in place, we could pick him up even if he wants to go to the bummers.

Correct me if I am wrong here because I am not entirely sure how this works, but I think that father son picks now need to be reflective of market value for that player. For example, if Tom Hawkins had a club willing to pick him up as a first round pick, then Geelong would have had to offer their first round pick for him to secure him, as opposed to just offering their third round under father son.

So, if Sydney and Essendon both want Darcy Daniher, then it will come down to whoever will use the higher draft pick.

                  Is that right?

Umm, I think it's more like Geelong's 2nd round pick in that scenario

                            bradley's not a great choice

we've had our fair share of stuff ups with fringe type players over the years

scott russell, david spriggs, brett allison, spida evertitt etc etc

                            i'd love judd, headland,

                            j. brown swapped for hall

barry and jude bolton swapped for darren glass

and all of collingwood's young talent swapped for matthews, lrt, jbolts, phillips, etc etc

                            clear it out

Bradley is a dud! Let him remain an Essendon dud.
