Ketalar (Ketamine HCl) appears on the list here as permitted for use in sport. So it's not banned by ASADA, unlike steroids.

Not many players run onto a football field expecting to get eye gouged or elbowed in the head.

Breaking an opponent's jaw is OK on the field as long as you kick enough goals for that team later on.

True but look how many times Kirky has had his head bandaged.I do a particular sport where there has been plenty of broken noses, wrists, jaws and shines and it is a contact sport.I dont expect for that to happen but it does,as Cousins says...Such is life.
Now this is a thread that i would expect on the ego -centric, wank session that is redandwhiteonline.com...

            It's barely a sport.

              Or punched in the cods.

Daniel is a first class tool and his real name is Wayne.
I might have a slight drinking problem. My husband asked me to toast some bread for him...so I raised my wine glass and said "Here's to bread!"

I think you are getting confused. It is permitted in sport for medical purposes (as part of a general anaesthetic for example), not recreational. It is illegal for recreational purposes.

No I'm not. The point is that one is banned and the other isn't even tested.

I think it was Ned Kelly who said "such is life".
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

I just don't think O'Keefe will play for any other club. He is too loyal. It'd be Sydney or nothing, remember, its only football. He'd move on before trying it out at another club, especially our arch rivals WCE.

Because it isn't tested for doesn't change the fact that taking it for recreational purposes is illegal.

Big deal. The AFL's drugs policy treats recreational ketamine use and steroids differently. It's not a technical difference.
