Swans = Pies

Now before you fire just think about this first:
The pies are quite similar to the Swans of a couple of years ago.

1. Written of by the media i.e. not gonna make it this year
2. the best/nicest description of their midfield is "workman like"
3. they have a big mobile CHF (even if he is a mummies boy)
4. have a smart arse with an uncanny goal sense (Nick Davis and Didak)
5. strong belief in themselves and
6. play a hard contested style

sure that could describe a few other teams, but watching them last night I felt a bit of deja vu.

Also, Kangaroos make the preliminary finals in a season when most thought they'd be near the bottom.

Imagine if the roos win then get bundled off to the Gold Coast for their end of season trip never to return!
They may even get a few bandwagoners (sp?)
