Swans fitness guru takes secrets south

    It's all falling apart...

Misson said yesterday there was a chance he could stay with the Swans in a sports science role, but he would probably opt to work at the coalface with a Melbourne-based club.

St Kilda has had a horrible injury record. He's been poached, gone for the dough. Sounds like he has been around a bit already so he was never going to stick around forever. That's life, we might get a fitness guru who can find a yard in pace from some of our snails. You never know McVeigh might put some meat on the bones.

I can tell you it wasn't a poaching issue. I'd heard that he was leaving a few weeks ago, through my sister's mother-in-law of all people (yes I know this one sounds dodgy). She works with Misson's wife who has been appointed principal of Melbourne Girls Grammar and that is the reason behind the move.

      I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

Now why wouldn't he say that and dispell any rumour.

Maybe he wasn't asked. The first question in any interview,as any good interviewer knows is,"Is your wife going to be Principal of an overindulged, namby, pamby Melbourne private School?"

A shame to see him go, but the system they have in place is based on a monitoring process not on one blokes extra sensory powers.

                      David Misson

swans elite performance manager David Misson has left the swans and has agred to undertake a similar role with St.Kilda.
Good Luck David, you did a great job in sydney.

Fair enough. As long as it was not a trade for the Aint's elite performance manager (if they ever had one) then i'm ok with that.

I think the job was jointly performed by Hamill and Kosi

What we need is a boxing trainer, ex-military PT instructor and sprinting and endurance(running) coach if we want over all fitness training .

Lets hope like any good business the Swans had a succession plan and we have his ready made prodigy willing and able to take the reigns.
