    We Are Geelong

I'm sick to death of the sight of blue and white already. The thing over the last week was to find a shop that doesn't have blue and white in the windows, and now of course Geelong will go crazy for at least a week or more, so I guess I had better barrack for them!

Todays Addy was 80% GFC, 15% adverts and 5% news. Maybe tomorrows will have no news or adverts.

I must remember to phone all those people who phoned me this time of the year two years ago.

    GO CATS!!

If the Kangaroos beat Port tomorrow then the crowd would definitely be interesting.

Love' em, hate'em, or be completely indifferent towards them...you have to have a huge amount of respect for this Collingwood team. I thought they were going to get absolutely smashed tonight but they put up a wonderful fight.

Maybe we should have loaned them Nick Davis for the night

I must admit that you have been in my thoughts down there.

Just go with the flow & wish them well. It ain't as if they don't deserve it this season.

And the pigs cows & sheep down on the farm will sure now the difference as well!

I agree with you Liz. They really won my respect tonight. There were times when they were completely dead & buried. Yet they found something within themselves to claw their way back from 18 points down.

Like em or lump em, you gotta respect what they are able to get from a playing group who surprised me this season.

Yeah, nongs in suits& ties whose comments on the game will be "the hors d'oevres were a bit salty this year".

Still, you can't complain about the atmosphere at the last 2 GFs, can you? The AFL organise things 1000% better than the NRL do.

A lot of respect for the Pies, but they were robbed! How protected are Ablett and Bartel? unbelievable! I wanted the Pies to win tonight, firstly because of my brother, secondly because their fans and the whole city of Geelong is making me sick.

I think it's fair to say that the Maggies had the better of the umps - tv and radio agreed.

Ablett's ability to pick up the ball cleanly and break the first tackle is amazing - he does it every time.
And the man who started it all, the Schneiderman . . . . .

                      No respect for the Pies.

                      Thank god they're out.

Of the three teams left, I'd be happy for anyone to win the GF.

                      Partial to the Cats though.

All the way over in Bunbury?

Good, tough, tight contest last night. Ablett was brilliant and his goal in the last quarter looked exactly like one his father might have kicked. Collingwood have nothing to be ashamed of about their losing performance against the season's most outstanding team. As its young players like Davis, Clarke and Thomas continue to develop and improve, they should be a force for a number of years, especially if they manage to recruit Judd.

The Pies won my respect 2 weeks ago, last night was just a reminder.

They were fantastic last night, and if they had a ruckman they probably would of won the game.

Let's hope Port can cause an upset next week.

                              Great game, Great Result.

Made me realise what a really crap game plan the Swans have.

True. Some of the games we've seen in this finals series makes you realise how far behind we were this year.

We would of lost by at least 8 goals if we played the pussies last night.
