Geelong Reserves Players worth a look for next year

    Not sure of Contracts

Brent Prismall - Alot of clubs will be asking about this guy just what the swans need a smart user of the football

Henry Playfair - NSW boy has taken awhile to recover from a Broken Jaw but is versatile and could be one we chase with our talls getting on

Tom Lonergan - BOG in VFL grand final Cats Rookie but I reckon he will be upgraded to their senior list next year

Jason Davenport - Not sure of first name but this guy looks the goods reminds me a little of Malceski but with more pace, will atleast be on a rookie list next year from watching his Grand final.....missed a few easy goals

Tim Callan - been at Geelong for awhile and would be dirt cheap

Henry Playfair looked so composed and balanced today. Usually when he plays for the firsts he looks awkward and unbalanced. He was reading the play really well.
Lonergan was really animated and it was great to see him play so well after losing the kidney. I wonder if the Cats will put him back on the main list???

It was good to get a look at Djerkurra. He comes from Gove as does a young player from the Mebourne Storm list and my youngest daughter's boyfriend who is going to make a go of playing for the Brumbies in Rugger next year. All three of them had their primary/secondary years together. Not bad for such a little place.

I like the whole five of them, particularly Playfair as a potential FB.

Playfair, Longergan and Prismall are ALL worth a look. We'd do well to get either one of those players. Playfair the new FB?

It is interesting in that Geelong make GF and still have good quality reserves that can't get an opportunity. THe SWans make two gf's and yet have no good players spare placing pressure on the firsts.

What does this tell you? SWans have to top up because of the market they're in and the SWans take a very long time to blood players into firsts.

Playfair and Lonergan have been round for awhile and I hoped the Swans had picked up Playfair originally in the draft except Geelong beat them to him.

Will we have another non event trade period overshadowed by the Juddernaut? BY the way if his girlfriend wants modelling or TV opportunity, you'd think someone would get her up to bloody Sydney quick smart.

Callan had a poor game but has been fantastic all year (Leigh Tudor is a really big rap for him...couldn't help thinking he was trying to let other clubs know as he will almost certainly be delisted....as I've said before he would fit superbly into the Swans no D***heads policy as he is a really down to earth bloke. He is a much better player than, say, Paul Bevan or Luke Brennan....and just as brave. Would have lost a lot of confidence this year not getting a game, but played very creditably when picked for the seniors in the past couple of seasons.

Not as purely talented as Tenace or Prismall.....but then would come for free not a 2nd round pick.
