    Buckley misses out again

WEll do you feel sorry for him?. Two GF losses and now a PF loss. Still no GF medal and a career about to end.

Oh well, at least he can have dinner with Eddie and joffa went he wants to. Be glorified by 40,000 knuckledragging supporters. Boast to have more supporters in gaol than any other player.

Can't help thinking if he'd stayed with the Bears he would have three around his neck now. Hindsight a wonderful thing.
In memory of my little Staffy - Dicey, 17.06.2005 to 1.12.2011- I'll miss you mate.

I feel more sorry for Shane Wakelin. Has been in 3 losing GF's and this year was his last chance to win in one.

        Meh... Karma....

Perhaps if he had of handed over that Norm Smith to Voss, the footy gods might have been more gentle on him.....

He must have been devestated at the end of that game, but after letting it sink in for a minute he got up and went and shook hands with all of the Geelong players and congratulated them, I liked him a little more after that.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Bucks has always been a good ambadassor of the game - and a good sport to boot. Great influence for the kiddies. Can't ask for much more than that.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

He is exceptionally good on the tele and radio, speaks very well.

Not talking Footy Show type garbage, proper footy talk shoes like they have on Fox.
Driver of the Dan Hannebery bandwagon....all aboard. 4th April 09

He has come a long way from his early days when FIGJAM was his name.

I reckon he will play on again next year along with the great Robert Harvey. Unfortunately I reckon both of them will go 1 year too many and the old bodies will give in.

To answer your initial question though, No I will never feel sorry for a Collingwood player/supporter.

Totally agree - when I lived in Sydney we only really saw him on TFS etc adn he seemed a total tool, but since moving down here, I've heard him on the radio, seen him on tv etc and I've grown to be quite impressed with his media skills. I still don't like him a huge amount but he does at least have my respect these days (not that he cares of course!).

He's got a good head for radio.

Like Ed Sullivan - "it's going to be a really big shoe..."
Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

"[T]here are things that matter more and he's reading and thinking about them: heaven, reincarnation. Life and death are the only things that are truly a matter of life and death. Not football."
