    Craig Bird

    Seems to have flown under the radar, but congratulations to Craig Bird .....(we need a nickname now!) on being drafted by the Swans as a fully listed player. We are using our third round pick (44?) after having him on an afl scholarship.

    BTW does anyone know if he counts as one of our minimum 3 compulsory draftings? I would presume that he does.

                                                      Is he a guaranteed selection? As in, could we have used our fifth round to secure him in the draft?

                                                          We needed to take him with our third under the rules.

                                                          Based on his form in the U18 Championship and the NSW/ACT side he might have gone late first round but would not have lasted to our second or third and especially our fifth.
