St Kilda-Sydney matches are amongst the ugliest in footy since Lyon took over at Moorrabin. I ain't got a problem with an away game. But to be honest I'd prefer it to be against an exciting (and soft ) opponent like the Western Bulldogs Richmond or even Essendon. Better for membership sales in both states & better publicity for the Swans & AFL footy than there is a reason to hop on board on 2008 if they see a big Swans win first up.

Does a big Swans win first up ever happen? I was actually thinking more along the lines of we'll lose our first game as we won't be ready, so at least it is away and against a team who will probably beat us anyway.

Did Roos run over your dog or something? You don't seem to be much of a supporter, not caring if we win? If you worry so much about ex swans feelings go follow the saints!

And the sitters that he will butcher. Dempster may not even get in their first 22

Barring major injuries I would be very surprised if Dempster was in the Saints 22 come round one, hell even Scheinder will have to knuckle down to force Milne out of the team.

Saints traded for depth and an injury prone ruckman, nothing more.

Schneider will go into their midfield.
Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

And that is going to be his problem.

Unless he can pull his finger out and get himself fitter he won't last long in their midfield.

Don't get me wrong, I like Scheinder and I hope he can break into the Saints side and remain in it, but it's going to have to be a vastly different Scheinder than what we have seen in the last two years.

For 10 minutes until he gets tired and gets interchanged.

At least he won't have the problem of the wind stuffing his kicking style out at the Dome.

I can't see him starring at the Saints. Don't think he has the application & attention to his fitness to make it any more at AFL level, let alone as an onballer.

Some of you are remembering Schneider of 2003. watch a replay of the Hawks game this year. And ask yourself why he was traded.

Sad but true. He had all of what....2 touches the entire game??
I might have a slight drinking problem. My husband asked me to toast some bread for him...so I raised my wine glass and said "Here's to bread!"
