Don't know why they are looking at Schneids when there is a
big money earner at the top who hardly got a touch last season and his
only decent bag of goals was against the team that ran last.

Even other average performers such as Fozzie haven't being mentioned
      as trade bait.

Matthews wouldn't attract interest from the knackers yard in a trade, and
the only way he will go is retirement.

Add to that the fact that Ross Lyon knows the capabilities of our players.

To get something above what one of our players (Bolton, Schneids, Buchanan) are worth we'd need to trade with someone else.

According to Channel 10 Schneider to Aints for 2nd round practically done good deal

Only if we package the pick up with something else and trade it on.

Not unhappy about that. I wonder if we'll use that draft pick or plan to on-trade it?

Maybe rules have changed but I thought you could not on trade picks

I'm not happy that we're trying to get rid of Schneider. He's 23 and is a proven quality player. Why we are trying to off-load him while keeping a guy like McVeigh is beyond me.

The only way I would be happy for Schneider to leave is if we got a top 20 pick in return. The Saints won't give us that.

If we trade for St.Kilda's 2nd rounder, it means we are trading a 23 year old premiership player who is easily in our best 22 for pick 25 in a weak draft.

I am not happy with this, but so be it. I think that the plan would be to on-trade that second rounder for another player.

If it is true, I am sad to see Schneider go, and wish him success (but not too much success )

It will only be worth it the 2nd round draft pick is used to pick another player.

There has to be more to it. He must of had a fall out with someone high up at the club or something like that.

I don't think they would traded him just for the sake of it.
