The "Goodbye Dempster, we'll miss you, all the best" thread
Well seeing that Roos believes in the short pass keep possession game, why do you think he never got a chance to kick it long on the very limited game time?
Yeah, I know what your saying, but their have been occasions where he has the oppurtunity to kick long, but tends to hesitate. Im not saying for him to kick long everytime he gets the ball, just those occasions where he could have gone for it, could have made the difference.

Confidence thing. Dempster is one of those players that when told to go out and do something, he will do it to the letter. It then puts doubt in his mind and he makes decisions which are questionable, but only in line with the instructions he has been given.
That could mean he is a one-dimensional player, but all Roos needed to say was attack.
Dempster, a player with a bit of talent and a fantastic boot. It is a shame to see him never realise his potential with the Swans.
I'm very disappointed to see Sean leave so early. He had quite a quiet 2007 season but I'll never forget those long bombs you kick when we backed yourself. Thanks for the memories.
I'll never forget what you did for us in the 05 GF. Beating Ben Cousins (the Brownlow Medallist that year) would be one of my favourite moments from you. I wish you all the best.
Good Luck Sean.

Goodbye and good luck Sean. Your trade was a bolt out of left field, never saw it coming. Hate to say it, but hope you and the Schneiderman burn us next time we meet and remind us all what we are missing out on!! Best wishes.
I might have a slight drinking problem. My husband asked me to toast some bread for him...so I raised my wine glass and said "Here's to bread!"

Best of luck.
This is footballs Nuremburgh defense. Sadly in the really big game - the 06 GF he did not follow either instructions to the letter or his opponent. Embers took him apart and his lack of physical pressure was a major factor in our loss.
He should look on the bright side of life. He leaves with a premiership medallion, going to be coached by a bloke who has some time for him and he was saved from being delisted. Hope he can continue his professional sport career with the Aints.
IMO worse than the Schneider trade. Future gun - could have been developed into a KP defender....stupid trade. Hope he sticks it up Roos Rd 1.
