Was Snides pushed or did he jump?

Anyone know wether Adam and Sean were kicked out or wether they asked to be traded?

Also, I heard on the radio a few days ago over here that Jude was on the trade table!

I think Dempster wanted to pursue his options as soon as Mattner came.

Schneider was in Bali at the time and according to reports he initially did not want to go, but Roos must of told him his plans for him next year, then agreed.

Jude was on the table because he was out of contract.

The Jude contract is really interesting. Why wasn't he signed earlier? Did he hold out for more money (delusional)? Did he shoot himself in the foot? Will the club now devalue him and play hardball? If so will he crack them knowing that 3 clubs were interested and nominate for the pre season draft? Will he fall on his sword and roll over for the good of the club and take a substantial pay cut? Was it all a sham for trade week? Where to for the T-Shirts?

        My T-Shirt will say:

        "Roos you got it wrong"

Once a swan always a swan. So much for "blood brothers" - only really applies to those senior players that are too selfish to bite the bullet.

I really need to stop posting - I sound like a really angry individual...
And the man who started it, the Schneiderman, can kick his third for the quarter. And the swans are in the Grand Final!

Do you apply that to players that we have recruited from other clubs as well. In which case Willo was always a Magpie, Maxfield was always a Tiger, Ball was always an Illegal. Need I go on. That's a silly statement.

Which clubs - many on this board believe that Jude has great value in Melb - methinks not.

From some posts I thought I was on the Colliwobble or Tigga boards with some of the feral comments.

Guys, it is definitely a salary thing. Those guys are paid way too much for their current performance and even Roos couldn't take it anymore. For Roos it was a simple approach. Unless they take a pay cut, there's no way they would keep them. It will be interesting to see how JB saga unfolds. He might be even de-listed if he doesn't accept a pay cut. Obviously his salary was a deterrent for other clubs to participate in his trade. Jude wake up and smell the "humus".

I tend to agree, they played a tough card with Schneider, but many an AFL player has taken a pay cut to save or lengthen his career. Would be harder in the city at the centre of the universe, so he might have to settle for battered savs for tea instead of caviar.

So Matthews must have taken a hefty pay cut, maybe he gets no pay at all, it could be that he is actually paying the club so as he can still play?
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................
