    Poor Schneiderman

Poor schneids is an understatement do you realize he was only 2 games away from his 100th game milestone ?

Hopefully his new club will recognize that for him and give him the great banner he deserves.

There's a pretty generally accepted list of players for "change". Neither were on it.

        The list isn't small.
The eternal connundrum "what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object" was finally solved when David Hasselhoff punched himself in the face.

A supporters' list on who should be traded has no basis when Paul Roos would think of possible trades.

He AND the club (who are all employees and whose jobs rely on these decisions) felt that this trade was benificial for all involved and would move the club forward in some way.

They make the decision based on their intimate knowledge of both the game and the players and therefore would have very different people on a trade list as opposed to a RWO 'generally accepted list' .

I heard Schneider wanted to move cos he couldn't stand his name being misspelt so many times on RWO!

              ... maybe you're silent with mummy's boy.

I got upset when Cookie retired this year. I still adore him. (*she says, weeping.)

You have your faves, and when they move on, you want to see them do well, and when they play against us, you try not to let them have it - especially when they play better at their new home than they did for us.

Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

Doubt many of the 60,000+ attending the game at Telstra would even know Rocca used to be a swan.. If i were a collingwood supporter, I'd boo Davis too.

If you were a Collingwood supporter you wouldn't be able to spell Collingwood.

                        Generally accepted by who?
Can't imagine that Dempster was on an 'untouchable' list.
                        Schneider too

Players come and go, 'tis the circle of football life.

I enjoyed watching both players play for the Swans, and they were 2 of 22 who brought us a flag.
But they were not regular performers, they were very sporadic.
Davis may just have scraped in by remaining on the list.

You don't ban those who supported your opponent, you make them wallow in their loserdom by covering your victory! You sit them in the front row. You give them a hat! Toby Ziegler

I feel sorry for Dave Missen. Schneides wouldn't get fit with us and now he's got mr. lazy at the saints. Must be his worse nightmare - the most unfit player at the swans has moved south with him.
